Scrabster harbour near Thurso in Caithness, far north of Scotland in the Scottish Highlands

In August 25th 2019 the sailing ship Eye of the Wind stopped over at Scrabster harbour and we were lucky to take a few pictures of this wonderful sailing ship. The ship was built in Brake, Germany in 1911 and has since been sold and renovated several times along with several name changes. The ship has also been in several Hollywood films and is available for charter, being used for leadership training, corporate events and individual charter, along with a trained and experienced crew. You can also join in planned sailing trips and training courses. Discounts are available to young people between 16 and 25 years of age on these sailing courses and trips.
