Sea Fishing

The sea was a bit rough yet it still allowed a good selection of cod and ling to be caught. The stars of the day was a 12Ib cod and an 8Ib red cod. More pictures on our Scrabster sea angling page.
Sunday 11th July 2010
The day started well with great weather, relatively calm seas and a fair bit of fish. By the late afternoon we were having fun on a rather choppy sea, rain and wind. Overall the day was a great day fshing and the largest fish was a ling of over 9Ibs, the second heaviest fish being caught by me, a 8Ib cod. A fair number of pollack in the 5-6Ib mark was caught during the day. Pictures below.
